About us
Gear with a name behind it.
TrueWornGear buys gear from college athletes and sells it on to the people who actually want it. Fans, collectors, and anyone who would rather own something real than another retail replica.
What you’ll find
Team-issued jerseys and warm-ups. Practice gloves, lifting shirts, training gear, cleats. Game-day pieces when we get them, and now and then something out of an athlete’s own collection. It changes constantly, because it depends on what comes our way.
None of it was made for a shelf. It was issued to a specific athlete at a specific program, which is the whole reason it’s worth owning.
How buying works
We only have one of each piece, so adding something to your cart locks it to you while you check out. Nobody else can buy it out from under you, and if you don’t finish, it goes back up for someone else.
Every listing has a condition grade with a plain-English definition you can open right there on the page, so “very good” means something specific. Photos are always of the actual piece, never a stock image. Used gear has wear, and we’d rather show it than explain it afterwards.
Working with athletes
Pieces are sourced with the athlete’s agreement, and when something sells on their behalf they get their share of it. Some want their name on the listing, some don’t. That’s their call, and a listing without a name still has a story behind it.
Straight answers
Not everything here is game-worn, and we never say a piece is unless we know it. Where we can’t verify something, the listing tells you what we do know and stops there. We’d rather undersell a piece than oversell one.
